Qiangli sells most pixel pitches in two lines: Pro and Eco (the Eco models carry an "E" in the model code, for example Q2.5-32S-E1-1515). Both use the same 320 × 160 mm module size and fit the same cabinets, so the choice is about picture quality and budget.
What the datasheets show
| Model pair | Eco | Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Indoor P1.8 (Q1.8-43S) | ≥ 450 cd/m², ≥ 1,920 Hz | ≥ 500 – 600 cd/m², ≥ 3,840 Hz |
| Indoor P2 (Q2-40S) | ≥ 450 cd/m², ≥ 1,920 Hz | ≥ 500 – 600 cd/m², ≥ 3,840 Hz |
| Indoor P2.5 (Q2.5-32S) | ≥ 450 – 500 cd/m², ≥ 1,920 Hz | ≥ 500 – 600 cd/m², ≥ 3,840 Hz |
| Indoor P4 (Q4-20S) | ≥ 500 cd/m², ≥ 1,920 Hz | ≥ 550 cd/m², ≥ 3,840 Hz |
| Outdoor P2.5 (Q2.5-16S) | ≥ 4,200 cd/m², ≥ 1,920 Hz | ≥ 4,500 cd/m², ≥ 3,840 Hz |
| Outdoor P8 (Q8-5S) | ≥ 4,200 cd/m², ≥ 1,920 Hz | ≥ 4,500 cd/m², ≥ 3,840 Hz |
The clearest difference is refresh rate: Pro modules are rated at 3,840 Hz or more, Eco modules at 1,920 Hz. Pro modules are usually a little brighter too, though not always: the outdoor P10 Eco model (Q10-2S-Eco-3535) is rated brighter than its Pro version. Always compare the actual datasheets.
When Eco is enough
- Advertising screens and signage that are rarely filmed
- Budget projects where cost per square metre matters most
- Scrolling text and simple graphics
When to choose Pro
- Weddings, events, churches, stages and anywhere people film the screen
- Studios and corporate video walls
- Screens where smooth gradients and colour quality are important
Do not mix Pro and Eco modules, or different production batches, in one screen: Qiangli warns that mixed batches show visible colour blocks. Compare both ranges in our LED modules catalogue; every Qiangli page has its datasheet to download.
